Moose farts

It seems that moose farts are threatening our very survival:

Researchers in Norway claim a grown moose can produce 2,100 kilos of methane a year, equivalent to the amount of CO2 caused by an 8,077-mile car trip, der Spiegel reported.

Norway’s national animal releases methane through burping and flatulence, as do cows, considered more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide.

There are estimated to be more than 100,000 moose in Norway.
All of them busy recycling vegetation that bacteria would otherwise break down, and that captured the compounds it is made up of as it grew, thereby making a closed system that has no effect whatsoever on the environment - a closed system that would operate whether or not meese were playing the bottom trumpet.

All in all a typical envirostupid report.

So by applying leftist logic to this, they need to exterminate the moose population in order to reduce their carbon footprint.

Maybe they could agree some sort of carbon trading deal with the nations that have large moose populations?

On the other hand they could maybe look at the whole global warming issue again - but thats not going to happen.
