No sloganising

A breath of fresh air from Gordon Brown, via Polly Toynbee. Brown said:

This old tired sloganising politics of the past should not resume.

Brown also said there should be:

a new type of politics

And:

a hard look at the tough questions

And:

consensus not division

And:

no more "quick fixes"
