What's your take on the Grameen Bank, Peter? I don't quite know what to make of it. Microfinance is such a nice idea, and preferable to the usual aid fiascos, but I've heard so many criticisms of Yunus and his schemes. I can't make out whether these have some substance or whether they're just the fulminations of tranzi aid-fetishists. Your thoughts would be welcome.
