Oppressed masses

Dr Rant is cross:

“In our time, political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible”
George Orwell; Politics and the English Language.

Orwell's apposite observation is of profound relevance in the current era of malicious political spin. As Patricia Hewitt rambles on about ‘better care’ and ‘safer patients’, the accumulating evidence to the contrary is beginning to bury her; her grave will not be a shallow one. Hewitt has been joined in her deceitful discourse by countless other soulless stooges, chief among whom are three men: Tony ‘talking testicles’ Blair, ‘Liam ‘liar liar’ Donaldson and Andy ‘boring and banal’ Burnham. These mouthpieces of maleficence have come to embody the very beast they represent. Hollow mercenaries who have coalesced with the dire DoH machine, and in so doing their franchise is gathering mass as it tries to suppress all those who challenge its lies with reason.
[...]
It is time to rise up and teach this group of bastards a lesson they will never forget, the lesson shall demonstrate the power of the oppressed masses; a power that, when unleashed in times of desperation, remains a formidable weapon against these arrogant and deceitful dictators.
Just so.
