This was published briefly by a well-known and respected left of centre blogger, who shall remain nameless because s/he had the conscience to remove it quickly. But it does show the corrosive effect of partisan politics. Johnson, for whom I hold no candle, has not a whiff of financial impropriety about him, unlike Livingstone - dodgy grants to dodgy crony identity-group companies contributed to his fall, if fall he has. This image is defamatory, dishonest and contemptible.
I suspect, though, that there'll be a lot more of this sort of ad hominem, dishonest attack in the weeks to come. The left really is the ugly side of politics.

I never understood the Porter business. She was done for an entirely bogus "crime" re council housing, and yet the very smelly business of selling off cemetries at a pound a pop was never investigated properly. All very rum.

Boris's secret weapon: driving the left crazy
I have to say, the reaction from most left-wing sites has been pretty amusing ('Harry's Place' being a notable exception).
It does tend to cement the view that left-wingers never grow out of childhood....
That rather smacks of someone hoarding a quite witty caption and being unable to resist using it despite it's being inaposite. Bit of a waste really...
