Mythical creature found?

I'd never heard of it, but:
Canion believes she may have the head of the mythical, bloodsucking chupacabra.
Others think she's just found a strange dog. One that likes drinking the blood of chickens.

    That's a poor Mayan Mexican hairless dog that someone killed for no reason.

    I should have updated this earlier. It was analysed and found to be a coyote with some kind of mange.

    but they found 3-4 others smilar to this that werent dogs and they tested for mange and it came up negative
